Day 69

There's this sign post out in the middle of NO WHERE that people put up their own signs saying how far it is from that point to other locations.


Relief from the heat...Sophia floating in the Colorado River.

Maya was floating too. She kept trying to drink the river...yuck!

Day 68

Sophia dressed herself today. All day her shorts were on backwards. :)


Maya played tea party with Sophia. She loved having her little tea cup with some water in it.

Day 67

Today was Sophia's Toddler Class at the Irvine Zoo. Aunt Stephanie packed a very yummy lunch and we had a picnic by Irvine Lake & Sophia fed the ducks.



Earlier, Maya enjoyed her green beans & cheerios. I turned my back for a moment and she was covered in beans. I figured I wouldn't waste the opportunity, so I decorated her in cheerios. ;) Baby food makes a wonderful temporary glue.

At her zoo class, Sophia touched the snake. This photo is for the enjoyment of Grandma Bonnie! HA! :) She thought it was neat how it wrapped it's tail around her wrist.

A day at the park wouldn't be complete without some sort of peacock photo. This one was stalking us and obviously had no fear of people.

Day 66

Sophia was painting on her easle. She was peaking through the center and I caught this photo.

Maya's first tooth! She got it on April 28th. :)

Sophia was hiding under a towel from me and I peaked under from the bottom and scared her. :)

My curves (er...rolls) were just made for a bikini! :)

Alberto took this one of Sophia this afternoon. I think most of her summer will be spent in her little pool!
