Day 34

A rose from Grandma Bonnie and Pop-Pop Jon's backyard.
Daddy was tickling Maya's toes.
Pop-Pop Jon and Sophia picked out a carrot for the Easter Bunny. Sophia is worried that the carrot will be too big for the Easter Bunny to eat.

Day 33

(CC)

Hmmm... I tried to cut Liberty's hair myself. I gave up. Click to enlarge the photo, so you can appreciate what a horrendous job I did. ;)

Some new plants I got for our garden.

Day 32

We went to see the Easter Bunny today. Apparently, the *Easter Bunny* doesn't have baby bunnies, based on the amount of time she kept the line of kids waiting and her short temper when it came to holding kids. ;) But, Sophia got a hershey's kiss, so she was just pleased.

My photo group challenge this week is "Humor". I don't know if many would find this funny -- perhaps even mean ;) -- but this picture is of Maya crying at GloWorm. Three years ago, after some high recommendations from other mommies, we got a GloWorm for Sophia. But, whenever it would play it would make her dramatically sob, with her lip sticking out and real tears. We always figured it was tied to her more emotional personality, so imagine our surprise when our happy-go-lucky Maya had the exact same reaction to GloWorm! So, the sorrow our babies felt wasn't funny...but the dramatic reaction to such a silly toy cracks us up!

Day 31

CC - constructive criticism is welcomed!

Waiting on the on ramp to the freeway. I forgot to roll down the window, so you can see a reflection, but I liked how the trees and flowers were lined up.

Maya waiting during Sophia's dance class.

Sophia practicing in the backyard before dance class. No matter what angle/side I was at, I couldn't seem to get the lighting right outside here.

Day 30

We bought a bag of 1500 ladybugs at Home Depot today. This is the second spring that Sophia has released them into our yard. It's hard to believe that there are 1500 in this little bag!

This ladybug is on Maya's eyebrow. She would twitch and giggle as it tickled her forehead. You can see Alberto and my reflections in her eye as we stand over her taking the picture.

Sophia let ladybugs crawl all over her.

She was so gentle taking the ladybugs and putting them on our plants.

Day 29

My mermaid from above...Maya wearing her teething toy...
I was cleaning out all my old makeup and decided to put it on Sophia before I threw it away. I then teased her hair to make it big. She looked pretty funny (although the photo doesn't show how dark and gaudy the makeup actually was) . But, when she saw herself in the mirror, she exclaimed, "I look BEAUTIFUL!!!!" :)

Day 28

Maya's new trick...
This isn't a good photo, but Sophia was having a lot of fun playing in the bucket of ice water with her buddies.
