This picture of Daddy and Sophia just made me laugh. They were both so exhausted!
This wasn't the picture of Maya I was trying to get, but I still thought it was cute. I *love* the way she looks in this outfit. It's sort of hugs her belly and makes it look big and chubby. :)
Maya was squishing playdoh balls that Aunt Stephie made. We thought it was funny how gentle she was with them. We almost had to coax her into smashing them. The contrast to Sophia is funny...at this age, we couldn't made playdoh balls fast enough, because Sophia would squish them instantly!
Sophia made a tiny cat out of playdoh!
Molly shows her determined, ornery side. She was determined to squeeze through this crack that was too small for her. :)
Sophia set the table all by herself tonight. She was so cute making sure that everything was just perfect. Lately, she's been helping me make dinner a lot. Tonight she seasoned the steaks and put the lettuce in the salad spinner.
Maya had her first big girl salad! haha! She's always pointing at our salads, so I made her a baby size one, with tiny pieces of lettuce, feta cheese and blue cheese dressing. She took a bite and said "Like it" !!! :)
We watched the 2nd half of The Sound of Music tonight (we only watched the first half yesterday). Then we went to the neighbor's house for a couple hours to celebrate the East Coast's New Years. :) Maya fell asleep on the neighbor's floor. Sophia and her friend had a great time playing though!
Sophia painted her toes with the new pedicure set that Santa brought her. She was so sweet and let Mommy give Maya her first pedicure too. :) Maya thought she was so special, because she loves to be like her big sister.
I'm a wife to a wonderful husband and stay at home mom to four incredible kids. This is my second year doing a Project 365 blog. My first year was in 2007 and I took a photo of our 2 daughters every day for an entire year. Not only did I capture their changes over a year, but I also got our memories -- 365 days in a row. It is something that I cherish looking back at. I also started a 365 blog at the beginning of 2010, but our little surprise -- Baby #4 -- got me side tracked. :)
