Day 174

This is Maya's "I'm doing something naughty, but am very excited about it" face.

Sophia was boating through the kitchen in a basket, while eating a banana.

Day 173

We went to California Adventure and Disneyland this afternoon. It was the first day we had been back since the summer blockout on our passes...so Sophia was SO SO excited! We went on Maya's first (flat) rollercoaster ride from a Bug's Life.


The ride took us through a watermelon, which squirted us as we went through.

Day 172

Mayazilla was attacking Sophia's train set! Sophia was frustrated and said "Someone please tell the baby you aren't supposed to sit on the train track!" She didn't believe us when we said she did the same thing when she was little!

Day 171

Happy Birthday to Aunt Stephie! We went to SeaWorld to celebrate her birthday today.

This picture of Grandma Bonnie and the girls cracks me up, because of their expressions. Sophia did not want to pose for a picture and was also wearing Maya's too-small hat. Maya was just tickled by her sunglasses and kept taking them off and on.


The Pets Rule show is so much fun! Sophia likes to set our agenda while there...Shamu, Pets, Sharks and Starfish.

Day 170

Maya had her first ice cream today! I was planning on just giving her a few licks, but she took the entire cone from me.

She was feeling really quiet and snuggly before I gave her a taste. I also think it's funny how Sophia bumped Maya's arm with her own cone and is licking it clean in the photo.

Then Maya had her first taste and perked up!

Day 169

Awww, baby Sophia! Grandma fed Sophia her sippy cup like she was a baby.


Maya surprised us by crawling over to Sophia's easle and picking up the paintbrush and pretended to paint! I guess she pays attention to what Sophia is doing!

Day 168

Grandma Bonnie and Sophia gave Liberty a bath today. If you click on the photo to blow it up, you can see Liberty has this poor "Help Me, Mommy" look on his face.

We could never make a block tower with Sophia, because she would always knock it down faster than we could build. With Maya, we can't get her to knock it down...she always takes it apart one block at a time.
