Day 292

Today was the Christmas Party for Sophia's preschool. It was so much fun and Alberto and I adored it!

The kids sang a few songs for us. Sophia is in the back row on the left. She sang and smiled all through the songs. Her good buddy is in the background on the left. His mom is Sophia's teacher and she was so excited that he was at the Christmas party!




The other 4 year old class put on the nativity play. Prior to the party starting, Sophia and her friends all snuck a peak at baby Jesus.

Santa made a surprise visit and brought books for all the kids! Here, Sophia is showing the Ariel heart locket that Mommy and Daddy gave Sophia this morning. It's her first big girl jewerly.

Maya was so tired she fell asleep during dinner!

This was our second attempt at Disneyland for my birthday! We went to dinner last night at Disney's Grand Californian and. just as we sat down to eat, it started pouring! There was no way we would have made it into the park with that rain. Fortunately, today was a beautiful evening.

This year they put fake snow on the castle.

Day 289

Happy Birthday to me! Alberto and the girls got me the real Angel's jersey that I've wanted!!! YAY! I can't wait to wear it to the games next season!

Day 288

Grandma Bonnie, Aunt Stephie and Molly came over for the day and we made Christmas cookies. Maya couldn't resist the temptation to poke the cookies over and over and over...so some of them ended up as decorated blobs of dough.


Sophia makes Christmas cookies just like Mommy! :) :) :) Lots of decorations are perfect!

I actually got the girls to BOTH sit still for a photo in front of the Christmas tree!
