Day 125

Yet another attempt to get a good photo of Grandma's hawk.

And it's prey (ewww).

Santa was vacationing in San Marcos this weekend and came shopping at our garage sale! He heard that Sophia was selling some old toys to earn money, to buy a new baby doll that she has wanted, so he gave her a dollar to use toward it!

After the garage sale, we headed to Target and she bought her doll.

Day 123

On Sophia's 4th day of school, she got a love note from her little boyfriend. How sweet is that? For two days, she has talked about him non-stop. :) Today, she wanted to wait for him after class to say goodbye (he's in another class). He gave her this note. He's 4 years old and wrote her name himself. The teachers said they are inseparable on the playground.

Day 122

Happy 4th of July!!!

We spent the day at Irvine Park with friends and had a wonderful day! It was 94 degrees out, but we found a perfect picnic spot with giant shade trees and a cool breeze blowing through. We took the motorhome, so we'd have a cool spot for the babies to nap.

I found this odd little bug crawling on one of the babies while they were playing in the grass. My first instinct was to toss the bug away, but then I realized I should take a photo of it for my blog first! HAHA!

Maya and her new little boyfriend!

The girls took a train ride around the lake, then enjoyed some snow cones. I believe this was Sophia's first snow cone. :)

Sophia barely made it out of the park before falling asleep. She ran and played for 8 hours!

Day 120

If Sophia is not on her tricycle, she is hopping around on this ball.

Maya has been a little stinker ever since she's become mobile. Today she crawled to the trash can and pulled herself up on it and tried to get in it. She's got an onery little look on her face. :)

This is right after I took her away from the trash can. :)

Day 119

One of three hawks that live by my mom and step-dad's house. I stalked them all weekend, but this is the best I got. My camera doesn't zoom in close enough to get a great shot and if I walk to close they fly away.

Maya wearing her first nightgown. :)
Sophia explaining to me how to play Suduko (or whatever that game is called). I love the look on her face, because she gets it every time she matter-of-factly explains how things work to us.
