Day 111

We spent the evening at the beach with the motorhome.






There were about a dozen dolphins that put on quite a show for us, even jumping out of the water and doing flips! This was the best photo I got and I had to adjust it quite a bit in photoshop. :( It was very exciting to watch!!!

Day 110

We spent some time at the duck pond today. There were dozens of turtles sunning themselves. The middle turtle in this photo was funny with the way it's back legs were sticking straight out. You'll probably have to click the photo to see it's legs in the bigger picture.

Day 109

Maya found the dog water. I only let her splash in it long enough to take a picture. Boy, she thought she was hysterical!


Sophia helped me wash my car today!

Day 108

This week's photo challenge is Black & White. The Space Shuttle and Space Station were kind enough to coordinate their pass over with our theme. HA! This was from the 3 minutes that both were visible flying through the sky tonight. It was very cool!

Here are some roses from our front yard.

The sun was just starting to set (you can see a slight glow on the right of the flag), the sky was still bright blue, although the moon was out.

Day 107

This is a rocking chair that I was given when I was a baby. Maya LOVES to sit in it and rock.

Day 106

Sophia was ringing to door bell at Disneyland Toontown's Camera Shop.

Sophia loves the teacup ride, just like me. Alberto doesn't like it so much, so it's always a ride we go on together. She was holding her hands up as we were spinning and I thought it was such a cute photo of her. The background, however, was kind of bland, so I photoshopped another background in from different photo I took on the ride. After I was done, I realized that the background photo was one taken before the ride started (hence, the man standing in the right corner) and the part with Sophia was taken while the ride was moving. HAHA!

Day 105

Today my niece, Molly, was baptized. Alberto and I, along with my brother and sister-in-law (Phil and Crystal), have the honor of being her Godparents. Here is Mommy (Stephanie) and Molly, just after the baptism.

I spent all weekend stalking birds, hoping to get a great bird photo. This is sadly the best I got. I followed this hummingbird for quite a while, but the background just wasn't contrasting enough.
